1. Manages and investigates RPA exceptions (process exceptions) and incidents, providing feedback to operational teams where business processes show un-expected or increasing volumes of business exceptions
2. Provides details of Incidents to the Automation Team, to support preparation of fixes for defects found in Production
3. Works with the Automation Team to prepare emergency fixes for Severity 1 Defects in production
4. Escalates business exceptions to the appropriate business unit or coordinating Business Unit Operations Manager
5. Maintains the daily administration of the automation software production environment (scheduling processes, monitoring resources, etc.)
6. Supports operational and performance metrics reporting
1. Understanding of RPA and the operational processes (desirable)
2. Understanding of formal change control and defect management disciplines (desirable)
3. Knowledge of the enterprise’s business operations experience
4. Experience in providing operational or production level support
5. Proven track record in a similar role would be advantageous
6. Experience running and monitoring automation software (desirable)
7. Ability to blend business analysis with technical skillset to develop efficient processes (desirable)
8. Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to schedule processes, monitor resources and log defects
9. Aptitude for problem solving
10. Must be well organised and able to multi-task effectively and efficiently
11. Attention to detail
12. Energy, enthusiasm, and drive qualifications and accreditations
13. Applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business or related discipline
14. Basic knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting, mutual funds and ETF with position in customer services are definitely an advantage.
